The Kano International Poetry Festival (KAPFEST 2025) has announced that BM Dzukogi, one of Nigeria’s most influential literary administrators and mentors, will be honoured with its Lifetime Achievement Award.
Widely regarded as the Father of Nigerian Teen Authors, Dzukogi is the founder of the Hill-Top Creative Arts Foundation (HCAF), a pioneering literary institution with over twenty branches across Nigeria. Under his leadership, the foundation has nurtured more than forty published teen authors and countless young creatives.
The award recognises Dzukogi’s decades-long commitment to literature, mentorship, and youth empowerment. His work continues to define Nigeria’s contemporary literary movement, inspiring new generations of writers and artists.
