Zainab Abdullahi is an illuminating star born in Jos. This Bida, Niger State, Nupe girl is blessed with the craftsmanship of penning creative pieces. She acquired her knowledge at the Federal University of Technology, Minna. Zainab won the Nupe Language Prize in 2022.
Her studies at the Indigenous Languages Learning Centre (ILLEC) became her platform for goal-setting and achievement in writing and other endeavours. She also won the HIAFEST Prize for Indigenous Languages in Nupe, 2022 with her book, “Eza e kpetso soko nikin nyi a”. She has written a Nupe Mathematics book entitled; “Enyabagi Nupe” and serves as an online tutor at ILLEC, along with being a creative writer herself.
