Once again, Nigeria’s voice of literary conscience, BM Dzukogi, continues to reaffirm that art has a father, and poetry has a pulse.
At the just concluded Heritage of Africa Festival (BLACK STAR EXPERIENCE) in Ghana, BM Dzukogi, founder of the Hill-Top Creative Arts Foundation the Organizers of HIASFEST, received a Plaque of Honor and Citation Award in recognition of his extraordinary contribution to African literature, theatre, and youth literary development.
The citation described him as “a voice that ignites thought, challenges perspectives, and reminds us of the power of words to shape minds and nations.”
As the Father of Nigerian Teen Authors, Dzukogi attended the festival alongside two HIASFEST Ambassadors, symbolizing a generational bridge, the master walking beside his literary heirs, carrying with him decades of advocacy, storytelling, and the spirit of artistic awakening.
Through his lifelong devotion to nurturing young writers and artists, BM Dzukogi has not only raised a new wave of Nigerian creatives but has built a legacy that now resonates across borders.
From Minna to Accra, the story remains the same, the world is listening to the children of his vision.
