The Sen. Sani Musa (313) Teen Authors Publishing Empowerment Scheme is now open to young writers between 8 and 25 years old across the nine local government areas of Niger East Senatorial District: Chanchaga, Bosso, Shiroro, Munya, Paikoro, Gurara, Suleja, Tafa, and Rafi.
Send in an original chapbook, a novella, a poetry collection, or a set of short stories, no longer than 40 pages, typed in 12-point Times New Roman with double line spacing. Selected authors will be published and presented to the public at the SANI 313 International Colloquium in Minna, the city already known as the Mecca of Literature.
None of this happens without Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, popularly known as 313. He donated the magnificent building that now serves as HCAF’s national headquarters, and his scholarship programmes have kept students across Niger East in school and moving toward their own ambitions. This scheme is the latest of those investments, this time aimed squarely at the district’s young writers.
