The Annual Dzukogi Spoken Word Competition is a new annual spoken word championship organized by the Nigerlites Spoken Word Artistes for schools in Niger State. This competition is the first of it kind in the state and it is specially designed to celebrate a great Nigerian writer, who is one of the leading art administrators in Nigeria, and founding father of Hill-Top Creative Arts Foundation, BM Dzukogi, for his selfless service to the Nigerian literature, Nigerian young artists, Nigerian teen authors, and humanity in general. It will feature young artists that will be performing on stage until the winners emerge. The competition is exclusively directed at discovering new voices in spoken word, from Niger State.
The first edition of the championship which was originally scheduled to hold on 6th & 7th October, 2023 is now to hold in February, 2024.
