Two HIASFEST brand ambassadors are off to Ghana to participate in the Broadway Theatre Festival.

Abdurazaq Salihu from Sarkin Pawa, Munya Local Government Area in Niger State, is a multiple art award winner and spoken word slam champion in Nigeria, as well as the author of two books (poetry and fiction). He is a final-year first-class student of Bio-Technology at Mewar International University in Nasarawa State.

Pacella Chukwuma-Eke is a final year student of Physiology at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu University, Uli, Anambra State, her native state. Like Abdulrazaq, she is a multiple poetry slam award winner and published author of a poetry collection. She is a founding member of the Abuja Hill-Top Creative Arts Foundation (HCAF).

The versatile young writers will be speaking on HIASFEST and serve as guest-perfomers at the Ghana festival. Last night, the initiator of HIASFEST, Alhaji Bala Abdullahi Kwatu, who published their books, and the sponsor of the Ghana trip, hosted them at his Abuja home. They are being accompanied by the founder of Hill-Top Creative Arts Foundation, BM Dzukogi.

Hiasfest is the largest teen arts festival in Africa, a brand from Niger State to the world. The 8th Edition comes up from 14th-17th January, 2026 in Minna, Niger State, Nigeria.
