Zaynab Iliyasu Bobi

Zaynab Iliyasu Bobi, Frontier I, is a Nigerian-Hausa poet, digital artist, and photographer who is an undergraduate student of Medical Laboratory Science at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto. Her chapbook SIXTEEN SONGS OF LOSS is set to be published by Sundress Publication. Zaynab is the winner of the inaugural Akachi Chukwuemeka Prize for Literature ’23, Gimba Suleiman Hassan Gimba ESQ Poetry Prize ’22 with a Pushcart and Best of The Net Nomination. Her works can be found in Strange Horizons, Fiyah Literary Magazine, Agbowo, Arc Poetry Magazine, Fantasy Magazine, Uncanny Magazine, Cutbank Literary Journal, Ake Review, Torch Literary Arts, Native Skin, The Deadlands, Isele Magazine, The Drift, Lucent Dreaming, 20.35 Africa, Trampset, Anomaly, and elsewhere.
