Abdullahi Yusuf Tela hails from Minna, Niger State, Nigeria. He is a freelance journalist and an op-ed writer for various media outlets in the country such as Daily Trust, Blueprint, The Nation, Ybtc, Gamji and others. He is a co-founder of Minna Literary Society (MLS) and the winner of the Flash Fiction Category in the WeNaija Contest for a healthier Nigeria.
He was a finalist at the Global Resilience Partnership writing contest. He is also the founder, Creative Arts and Literary Club, Newgate University, Minna where he is a lecturer.
