Harajana Umar Ragada

Harajana Umar Ragada is a poet, writer, and journalist who hails from Niger State. Her love for books aroused her interest in writing. She is an ardent pad-a-girl advocate. She loves reading, writing, and traveling. Her article ‘when a father dies’ is published on The Daily Reality and Golden News. Glad tidings blog have gladly published her poem. Her short story was longlisted for the Hafsat Abdulwaheed women short story prize 2022. She was also shortlisted for the Umar Abubakar Sidi poetry prize. She has performed at TedxBazeUniversity 2023 and was a panelist at HIASFEST 2023. She was shortlisted for the Poets In Nigeria (PIN) poetry contest for hosts and co-hosts of the cross country celebration of poetry.
