Engr Yahaya D. Daudu is a professional mechanical engineer, scientist and project management expert living in Minna and Abuja.
He is the second most prominent publisher of teen authors after Alh. Bala Abdullahi Kwatu in Minna. His association with writers, especially the young ones in Minna, has been immensely rewarding as an essential contribution to the city’s literature growth. He is a massive reader of books and novels and has been featured in many art programmes of writers in Minna. He regularly goes to the national headquarters of HCAF to speak to children and mentor them on many aspects of life.
Engr. Daudu has attended many of the HCAF’s monthly Teen Authors’ Flash for teenage writers who had completed their manuscripts. Subsequently, he publishes them. Similarly, he attended the painting exhibition at HCAF and bought works of art done by members. This is outside the financial support given to members on individual levels, chief of which was his massive contribution to the founder of HCAF’s bid to contest the national presidency of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) in 2017.
Engr. Yahaya D. Daudu is a regular attendant of HIASFEST, which he is never tired of. He was among the first recipients of the Golden Award for art promoters in Nigeria for his vast contributions to art in Minna city and around the country.
He is a politician who once contested the Governorship of Niger State under the People’s Redemption Party (PRP).
