Saratu Ummul-Iman Abubakar was born on 5th January, 1998. She attended Mameena Memorial School Kaduna for Nursery and Primary Education. She then proceeded to Danbo International College, Kaduna, where she obtained her SSSCE certificate in 2014.
After obtaining the SSSCE, she moved to the United Arab Emirates, where she studied at American University of Sharjah and obtained B.A Mass Communication (with a minor in psychology) in the year 2018.
Upon graduation, she worked as a Journalist/ Sub-editor on the Digital Desk of Gulf Today Newspaper, UAE. Her byline includes features on Travel, Women and Social Issues.
She worked at Gulf Today for three years before moving back to Nigeria where she did her Youth Service in FCT, and was posted to Research Department of Peace and Anti-Conflict Journalism Center, Baze University for the primary assignment.
After her youth service, She gained admission into University of Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom where she obtained an MSc. in International Business Management. She is currently awaiting confirmation (In View, November, 2023) as a Member, Chartered Management of Institute of the United Kingdom.
She currently works with Venture Capital and in addition a Columnist for News Digest, Abuja, covering issues on Politics, Women and Social Issues.
She is the author of BECOMING published in 2017. She is Nupe by tribe and hail from Agaie LGA
Her hobbies includes Reading, taking long walks, and trying different iced coffee.
