Prof. Faruk Rasheed Haruna has been providing numerous supports to art and writers in Minna for a long time. He is a fan of the Hill-Top Creative Arts Foundation (HCAF) since 2012. He granted College of Education (COE) Minna’s facility for the inauguration of the Nigeria Festival of Teen Authors (NIFESTEENA) in 2017, he furnished the HCAF Library Literati at the old headquarters in 2012, he kick-started HCAF’s Accelerated Publishing Scheme for Teen Authors in 2016 with the publication of Mustapha Gimba’s book (over 30 books have been published for children since then), he supported the founder of HCAF’s bid to become the national president of the Association of Nigerian Authors on two occasions, he was the second contributor towards the construction of a fence around our HCAF’s new national headquarters. He is a visitor to the Art Centre. He also patronises Polarsphere Books, the publishing unit of our Polarsphere Media Limited. In 2015, we published five of his books.
Prof. Faruk has contributed cash to many book launches by members of the Association of Nigerian Authors privately and openly. He is always present at literary for a within and outside the city.
