Prof. Mohammed Kuta Yahaya is an energetic personality who was responsible for facilitating every gold of the literary mine in the administration of Dr. Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu in which HCAF members were drivers. These ranged from the initiation of the MBA International Literary Colloquium to the creation of the Niger State Book Development Agency to the donation of a bus to writers in the state, to the massive publications of literatures in art and other disciplines, to helping boost the activities of the Hill-Top Creative Arts Foundation and the Association of Nigerian Authors.
Prof. Kuta facilitated the construction of the fence at the old headquarters of HCAF and also donated computers. He is not just a regular visitor to the Art Centre but brought Talba there. In their administration, Niger State took the lead in literary activities and management in Nigeria. Prof. Kuta, chaired the maiden edition of HIASFEST including the last one. His penchant for engaging young writers in critical academic, scholarly and conferences has helped in boosting their capacities in literary art in Minna, Niger State.
